The Clubs program empowers and encourages student freedom to create groups dedicated to specific interests, hobbies, and academic focuses. Mission
The Department of Student Leadership and Involvement (SLI) facilitates opportunities that enhance the academic experience by promoting student involvement and event attendance, developing leadership skills, and preparing students to take on active societal roles on campus and in their communities.

Membership Benefits
The co-curricular and extra-curricular experiences that students have with the Department of Student Leadership and Involvement contribute to their academic persistence, retention, and completion. Furthermore, these experiences add to the vibrancy of their college experience increasing their affinity to UVU. The programs and offerings provided by SLI are listed below.
- ACTION LEARNING: With weekly offerings students are able to participate in activities learning new skills/hobbies that they have interest in. Students are able to connect with their peers and participate as their schedule allows.
- CLUBS: Empowers and encourages student freedom to create groups dedicated to specific interests, hobbies, and academic focuses. By participating in a club, students have the opportunity to increase their leadership and communication skills, meet new people, and do more of what they love.
- INTERRELIGIOUS ENGAGEMENT: Builds a community inclusive of all worldviews (religious, spiritual, and secular identities) by providing physical space, educational events/activities, and opportunities for dialogue to build respect, relationships, and understanding.
- LEAD CERTIFICATION PROGRAM: Students have the opportunity to earn a one or two-year distinction certifying completion of prescribed teaching activities focused on four key areas of professional and personal development: Learn, Engage, Acquire, and Discover.
- OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING: Assists students in having a positive student living experience by facilitating on site residence life events/activities and connecting students to housing related resources and information including housing laws, independent living tutorials, contract navigation, etc.
- SPIRIT SQUAD: Provides performance-based entertainment at Athletic and campus events promoting an atmosphere of interaction, enthusiasm, and support for UVU.
- STUDENT GOVERNMENT (UVUSA): Made up of elected and appointed officers, students are responsible for representing the student voice across campus. Student officers actively participate in policy change, advocate for student needs, and provide activities/events to enhance the student experience.

The UVU Honors Program seeks out highly motivated and diverse students who exhibit curiosity, creativity, passion, initiative, and flexible thinking. Admitted students receive specialized academic and social opportunities beyond the typical collegiate experience. We promote student success through intensive advising, inclusive experiences, classes with outstanding faculty, and sustained peer-group interactions during cultural events, outdoor adventures, and research endeavors. Through imaginative and intellectual engagement, Honors students build on their personal, professional, and civic potential.

Mission
The Presidential 100 is a group of students selected each academic year to participate in a cohort-based mentoring program that focuses on personal development, an understanding of critical factors shaping national and global politics and economics, and service, all supervised by UVU President Astrid S. Tuminez. Students who complete the required meetings and activities over two semesters will be awarded a certificate, much like completing an executive education program.

Successful participants will gain leadership skills, a network of mentors and friends, and new concepts and frameworks for understanding and navigating a world that is volatile yet full of opportunity.

The Women’s Intercultural Engagement Program provides space for all students to engage with one another, celebrate success, receive cultural education, and gain an awareness of the shared lived experiences of women at UVU. We strive to foster a sense of belonging so all students can learn with and from one another.

Study & Meeting Space
We invite students to hang out, eat snacks from our FREE SNACK CORNER, or meet in our space. We have board games, puzzles, cards, coloring pages, paint, and fidget toys available. There is access to hand sanitizer. We ask all students to be conscious this is a shared space and help us keep it clean.
We also offer a shared fridge and microwave for students to store and reheat lunch or snacks during office hours
We have a screen and couches for movies or gaming, just ask our front desk for access.

Women Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm WIEP will provide activities to help your brain and body unwind.
Brain food will also be served throughout the day.

Menstrual and Safe Sex Products
We always offer free tampons and liners.
We also offer free condoms, dental damns, and lubricant for anyone to take at their discretion.

We are child friendly
Supervised children and babies are always welcome in our space. We have a large variety of children’s books and toys for them to play with while they are here.
