The Purpose of the Foreign Affairs club is to
1. Discuss current events related to foreign affairs and their impact on Utah, the United States, and the globe.
2. Provide students the ability to connect with foreign affairs professionals through collaboration with other U.V.U. Clubs, outside local organizations, and foreign dignitaries.
3. Offer assistance to the Office of Global Engagement and the University at large in hosting foreign dignitaries and other speakers relating to foreign affairs.

The Reinvigorate Democracy Club's main purpose is to decrease political polarization in the United States and improve the wellbeing of democracy, helping to unify the nation and prevent political extremism. This will be done through teaching club members about the root causes of political polarization and encouraging rational, respectful discussion about it. While the focus of this club is on the United States, the principals taught in this club are applicable to those in other countries. The goal of this club is not to change personal beliefs or ideologies, but to encourage open communication between pollical parties and ideologies, strengthening understanding and empathy. All people are welcome to participate in this club so long as they are compliant with Utah Valley University's rules and guidelines. As Abraham Lincoln once said to a nation much more divided than ours, "We are not enemies, but friends. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection." This is our guiding principle. Together we can reinvigorate democracy – and united we will face the challenges of the 21st century head on.

The Purpose of the Rotaract is to 1) Raise awareness of mountain sustainability topics, 2) Bring the public into contact with international guests and foreign dignitaries, 3) Bring communities together to recognize their shared mountainous heritage, 4) offer students a chance to make connections that will benefit them as they move into their careers, and 5) be official UVU representatives for the Orem-Lindon Rotary International Chapter.
We promote the sustainability of the world's mountain environments and community livelihoods through youth efforts, and community-engaged learning both locally and globally through advocacy, networking, knowledge sharing, and exchanges of best practices.

SUAR is a student-led club advocating for the inclusion of non-human animals into discourses surrounding civil injustice. Our mission is to raise awareness for the urgency of an animal rights movement; and to build a supportive community to uplift one another at whatever stage in our animal rights activism journey we may be.

We at SUAR do not primarily advocate for life-style changes such as dietary-veganism, but rather vegan-mindedness -- veganism is not a diet, but a social movement: A commitment to the idea that all beings, human and non-human alike, ought to be treated with dignity, respect, and care. Although it is our hope that people will opt into living a more animal-friendly life, we recognize that our role is to educate and uplift, not shame people for their lifestyle choices.

Activities may include: Volunteering at local animal sanctuaries, guest lectures from animal rights activists or scholars, volunteering with local animal rights demonstrations, movie or book hangs, awareness campaigns on or off campus, vegan food gatherings, visiting local animal agriculture farms, offering peer support, casual get-togethers, etc.! (We're open to ideas!)

P.S. (to be very clear) being on a vegan diet is NOT required to be involved! Although dietary veganism is an important aspect of animal rights activism, we at SUAR recognize that there are many ways to be an ally. We aim to uplift one another by meeting each other where we are. It is not at all asked of you to commit to dietary restrictions (but please note: our club activities will only feature vegan food).
