LEAD Application

This is a one or two-year leadership development program that allows you to choose your own leadership area of interest, and if so desired, also choose your own mentor and other experiences.

 A few experiences you will participate in include:
  • Courses with an approved leadership component
  • An approved hands-on leadership project each semester
  • Meetings with a mentor
  • Peer Leadership
  • A discovery and understanding of your strengths using Gallup's StrengthsFinder 
LEAD Program Expectations
  1. Communicate with Team Leader throughout the program and set up a prefferred contact method with Team Leader.
  2. Meet with Team Leader and LEAD Cohort once per month.
  3. Meet with your Team Leader one-on-one to discuss monthly goals. 
  4. Meet with your Mentor once a month
  5. Conduct an information interview once a semester
  6. 50hrs of leadership per semester 
  7. Complete 6 concept cultivators per semester
  8. Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and keep yourself in good standing with Utah Valley University
