2026-2027 UVUSA Event Chair and Senate Assistant Application

Late applications will NOT be accepted, no exceptions.

 

Mission of UVUSA

As the governing body of the Utah Valley University Student Association, Student Council is here to serve and advocate for students. We look for ways to create a sense of belonging for all students across campus, and help students build an affinity for UVU.
 

APPLICATION STEPS:

  • Candidate Biographical Information
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions
  • Attach Resume
    • Highlight campus involvement, leadership and volunteer experiences, and relevant skills
  • Upload media (i.e. video, powerpoint, etc.) stating why you want to be on UVUSA, and what skill sets set you apart from other applicants.
  • Respond to 2 short answer questions
  • Explain your qualifications and interest for each position you are interested in

After applications are received, they will be reviewed by the application committee, and you will be contacted regarding next steps.
 

Requirements to apply:

  • Applicant must be in good standing with the university

  • Applicant must have a cumuluative GPA of 2.75 or above in order to be eligible to apply for a position
    • Those with a GPA of 2.75-2.99 will need to submit a letter of recommendation from an academic source as well as a personal statement addressing academic concerns.
    • Those with a GPA of 3.0 or above DO NOT need to submit any additional documentation.
  • Applicant can't already have earned a bachelor's degree

  • Applicant must agree to be enrolled in at least 12 credits for the upcoming fall and spring semesters
